Ukraine has increased exports of agricultural products to EU countries by 34%

During the first 7 months of 2019 Ukraine has increased exports of agricultural products to EU countries by 34,3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

The largest importers of Ukrainian agricultural products are: Netherlands (imported 18% of all exported products), Spain (13,5%), Poland (13,4%), Germany (11,1%) and Italy (10,6%). Mainly exported items were: grain crops (their exports amounted to 1,8 billion USD), vegetable oil (921,9 million USD), oil seeds (385,4 million USD), seed cake and other types of food-industry waste (345,5 million USD), poultry meat (117,3 million USD).

As at September 2, 2019 Ukraine has used 100% of EU tariff import quotas for honey, sugar, barley cereal and flour, processed starch and tomatoes, grape and apple juice, corn and wheat. Ukraine has also used 48% of butter quota and 33,3% of milk quota.
