An agreement extending the application of zero import duty rates on eggs and poultry meat between Ukraine and the United Kingdom from March 31, 2026 to March 31, 2028 was signed by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka and Member of Parliament, Minister of State (Minister for Trade) at the UK Department for Business and Trade Chris Bryant.
This represents important support for Ukraine’s agricultural sector, helping to sustain exports under wartime conditions.
The parties also discussed deepening Ukrainian-British cooperation, further development of trade and economic relations, continued support for Ukraine amid Russia’s full-scale aggression, strengthening Ukraine’s energy sector, exchanging experience in digitalization, and expanding the participation of British businesses in Ukraine’s reconstruction projects.
