Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China have signed bilateral agreements on requirements for export of honey and oilseed residues from Ukraine to China

During the Seventh Session of the Ukrainian-Chinese Subcommittee on Agricultural Cooperation, held in Beijing on November 27, 2019, a Protocol on veterinary and phytosanitary requirements for the export of rapeseed meal from Ukraine to the People's Republic of China was signed between the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the General Administration

of Customs of the People's Republic of China, as well as a Protocol  on the requirements for the export of honey from Ukraine to the People’s Republic  of China. The protocols were signed by Taras Kachka, the Deputy Minister  for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine - Trade Representative of Ukraine, and Wang Lingjun, the Vice Minister of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. 

It has to be noted that the signing of the Protocols will facilitate and improve the bilateral trade and diversification of markets between Ukraine and the People's Republic of China as well as open new opportunities for Ukrainian business and exporters and strengthen contacts between the two countries.
