Ukraine and Great Britain are working on a solution for signing a new agreement on digital trade.

The Ministry of Economy reported that the agreement on digital trade between Ukraine and Great Britain is in the final stage of preparation.

The agreement will provide for: non-application of taxes (but freedom of taxation) in digital trade and maintenance of a common legal framework for electronic transactions, conclusion of contracts electronically, electronic identification, paperless trade, protection of personal information, etc.

The agreement will also see cooperation with the UK on digital inclusion, new digital technologies, cyber security, data innovation, digital identity, digital aspects of logistics, billing and compliance standards and procedures, digital competition and all other aspects of the digital economy.
