During recent years Ukraine has been among the TOP-5 largest suppliers of organic products to the EU.

In 2021 our country took 5th place in the world out of 126 countries in terms of the volume of import of organic products to the EU with a share of 6,6%

of the total volume. According to the Swiss Organic Agriculture Research Institute (FiBL), in 2020, Ukraine ranked 21st in the world and 13th in Europe in terms of the area of organic agricultural land.

Now the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is also working on completing the formation of the legal basis for control in the field of organic production, circulation and labeling of organic products.
