Ukraine agreed with Romania on transit of the livestock

Ukrainian economic entities can receive approval of transit of live cattle, livestock, fish, hatching eggs and other categories of live animals through the territory of Romania. Earlier Ukraine didn’t have the right to export these types of goods to the EU.

This was reported by the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection based on the results of negotiations between Ukraine and EU and according to official notice from Romanian competent bodies. To make it clear, such conditions for transport of the live livestock will be valid only during the martial law in Ukraine.

In case of your interest it is required to:

contact the head office of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection of your region in order to obtain a form for filling in the information provided by the competent authority of Romania;
