According to the results of last year, the geography of supply of agricultural exports of Ukraine has changed.
During the year, Ukraine exported agricultural food products (groups 1-24 UKTZED code, as well as casein, albumins, skins, fur, wool, etc.) worth 23,6 billion USD, which is 15% less than in 2021.
China, which in 2019 was the leader in TOP-10 largest importers of Ukrainian agricultural products and was constantly strengthening its positions, in 2022 was surpassed by Poland. This country in 2021 was at the 7th position in the rating. Romania, which in 2021 was not even in the list on TOP-20 of the main consumers of Ukrainian agricultural products, last year was at the 2nd position. In 2022, Hungary demonstrated an almost tenfold increase in the volume of purchases and entered the TOP-10 largest importers. A similar situation occurred with Bulgaria.
The TOP-10 consumers of Ukrainian agricultural products were:
Poland (2710 million USD);
Romania (2557 million USD);
Turkie (2212 million USD);
China (1888 million USD);
Spain (1307 million USD);
the Netherlands (1196 million USD);
Italy (923 million USD);
Hungary (884 million USD);
Bulgaria (811 million USD);
India (794 million USD).
These 10 countries generated about 65% of foreign exchange earnings for domestic agrifood exporters last year.
