Dr. Andrew Forrest, an Australian businessman and head of Tattarang, will invest $500 million in Ukraine Development Fund (UDF).

Since Dr. Forrest joining the Foundation in September 2022, the BlackRock Financial Markets Advisory Group (BlackRock FMA) has worked closely with the Ukrainian government, signing a Memorandum of Understanding under which the BlackRock FMA provides advisory support in developing an investment base to attract private capital for recovery and support of the Ukrainian economy. In May 2023, the Ministry of Economy announced the appointment of BlackRock FMA as a design consultant for Ukraine Development Fund.

Charitable foundation Minderoo from Forrest has already contributed millions of dollars to help the Ukrainian people, including funding the first humanitarian shipment of grain from Ukraine in August and providing critical grain storage facilities for farmers whose crops would otherwise have been spoiled. Besides, 180 generators were provided to provide power supply.
