Ukraine has exported 41 000 tons of barley as of October 23. A certain revival of the export demand for grain is connected with the stabilization of functioning of Odesa ports.
Export demand for barley has intensified. In Odesa the demand for certified barley for deliveries to China is recorded at a price of about 118-120 dollars per ton. As of November, 50 000 tons of barley were already sold with delivery to China. Therefore, we can expect further movement of grain through Odesa ports. Danube ports do not currently have trade with barley. Although the indicative price is 125-130 dollars per ton, there is no real movement.
Higher liquidity is at the western borders (WB) — 135-140 dollars per ton on DAP terms, but demand in this direction is insignificant.
