In the II quarter of 2024, the State Customs Service issued 25 500 transit declarations under the common transit (NCTS) procedure, which is 2 000 more than in the previous quarter. And most of them, about 15 000, are in the NCTS Phase 5 system, which is new for business.

Therefore, despite the process of business transition to NCTS Phase 5, which took place on April 22, 2024, the dynamics of declarations in the joint transit procedure did not slow down: the II quarter of 2024 became the most productive since the international use of "customs visa-free" on October 1, 2022. The total number of completed declarations reached 91 000.

Also, during April - June 2024, the number of successfully completed transfers increased:

initiated by the customs authorities of Ukraine - 20 000;

initiated in other countries participating in the Convention – 5,5 thousand.

Each of the indicators exceeded the achievements of the 1st quarter by approximately 1 thousand.

Regarding guarantees during the joint transit procedure in the II quarter of this year in the NCTS guarantee management system, the State Customs Service registered:

total guarantees – 45 (as of the beginning of July 2024, 74 are valid for a total amount of about 150 million euros);

individual guarantees - about 2,5 thousand (at the beginning of July 2024, more than 1,5 thousand are valid for a total amount of more than 170 million euros).
