The export cargoes of meat products have been forced to wait in line for more than a week to leave Ukraine due to the absence of the list of perishable goods that have priority when crossing the border. This situation forces the meat products producers to refuse to export at the time when international trade with products with added value is a priority for the country’s economy.

In order to solve this problem Agrarian Union of Ukraine has addressed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine asking to add certain sausage products (UKT ZED 1601009190 and 1601009990) to the list of perishable goods that have priority when crossing the border.
