Over 90% of imported pork to Ukraine comes from the EU

In January-April 2025, Ukraine imported 3,600 tons of pork, a 3.8-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

In monetary terms, pork imports for the first four months of 2025 grew 3.5 times compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $8.5 million.

During January-April 2025, pork was primarily imported from Europe: Denmark (74.22%), Poland (11.6%), and the Netherlands (7.5%).

Pork exports in January-April 2025 increased by 49.3% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 1,100 tons.

In monetary terms, revenue from pork exports for the first four months of 2025 rose by 72.2% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $3.1 million.

During January-April 2025, Ukrainian pork was mainly supplied to Hong Kong (31.3%), the UAE (23%), and Bahrain (14.1%).
