The negative balance of foreign trade increased in 2,8 times

The negative balance of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods in January-November 2023 increased 2,8 times compared to the same period in 2022 - to 24,35 billion US dollars from 8,57 billion US dollars.

As reported by the State Statistics Service, export of goods from the country during the specified period reduced by 18,9% compared to January-November 2022 - to 32,98 billion US dollars, while import increased in 16,5% - to 57,33 billion US dollars.

The State Statistics Service specified that in November 2023, compared to October, the seasonally adjusted export volume increased by 3,1% to 2,58 billion US dollars, while import reduced by 9,5% to 4,75 billion US dollars.

The seasonally adjusted balance of foreign trade in November 2023, like last month, was negative and amounted to 2,17 billion US dollars against 2,74 billion US dollars before.

The export-import coverage ratio in January-November 2023 was 0,58 (0,83 in January-November 2022).

Foreign trade operations were conducted with partners from 228 countries of the world.
