According to the information, provided by the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Kenya, on April 20, 2020 the Government of Kenya

made a decision to introduce a specialized purchase procedure of white (180 thousand tons) and yellow (180 thousand tons) corn in order to satisfy needs of local flour grinders associations.

This decision concerns Ukraine as well. In accordance with this decision the import duty on white corn in the specified period will be reduced from 50% to 14%, on yellow – from 50% to 10%.
