The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the global technology company Mastercard signed a Memorandum of Cooperation within the framework of the implementation of the "Made in Ukraine" policy, which is aimed at supporting Ukrainian business, popularizing and stimulating demand for products and services of domestic manufacturers, in particular through the implementation of the national cashback program for Ukrainian goods.

The document was signed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko, Eastern Europe Division President at Mastercard Yasemin Bedir and General Manager of Mastercard in Ukraine and Moldova Inga Andreieva.

According to the Memorandum, cooperation between the parties is envisaged, in particular, in the following areas:

supporting small and medium-sized businesses, including improving digital business processes (digital solutions for accepting payments, issuing electronic receipts, raising awareness of innovative financial trends);

expert and technological partnership in the implementation of the national cashback program for Ukrainian goods within the support of the "Made in Ukraine" platform;

supporting communication campaigns of the Ministry of Economy aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
