In 2023 Ukrainian export of chocolate amounted to 53,4 thousand tons with a total value of 191 million US dollars. According to Customs statistics, in December Ukrainian companies have exported 4,8 thousand tons of chocolate worth 18 million US dollars, and in 2023 – 53,4 thousand tons worth 191 million US dollars.

The import of chocolate in December amounted to 3 000 tons worth 18 million US dollars, for 2023 the total was 31 000 tons worth  166 million US dollars. For comparison, in 2022 Ukraine exported 45 000 tons of chocolate for 143 million US dollars, imported 32 000 tons for 130 million US dollars.
