In July Ukraine exported 3 million tons of grain and oil crops

The World Food Program (WFP) plans to purchase, load and ship 30 tons of wheat from Ukraine on a UN-chartered vessel. This is stated in the statement of the spokesperson of the UN Secretary General regarding the shipment of the first trading vessel within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Transportation Initiative, UNN reports.

"The World Food Program (WFP) plans to purchase, load and ship 30 tons of wheat from Ukraine on a UN-chartered ship at the first stage. WFP will provide more information in the nearest future," the statement said.

UN Secretary General António Guterres welcomed the shipment of the first trading vessel that left the Ukrainian port of Odesa.

On July 22, Ukraine, the United Nations, Turkey and russia signed an agreement (Ukraine and the russian federation separately) aimed at ensuring the safe passage of ships entering and leaving three Ukrainian Black Sea ports ("Odesa", "Chornomorsk", "Iuzhnyi" ), which were blocked by the russian federation after the invasion of Moscow on February 24. Ukraine and russia are major exporters of grain, and the port blockade has delayed tens of millions of tons of grain in the country.

Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov announced that on August 1, the first vessel with Ukrainian grain left Odesa port.
