NGO Digital Cherkasy plans to develop a new digital tool for attracting investment within the project  «Investment Marketplace of Territorial Communities of Cherkasy Region».

For the economic development of communities of Cherkasy region it is necessary to attract investment to the region. Lack of investment and business infrastructure directly affects both the level of development of local entrepreneurship and the level of development of territorial communities of Cherkasy region.

That's why Digital Cherkasy is developing a new user-friendly online investment platform. It will be necessary for:

• supporting online dialogue with local businesses and investors;
• conducting an audit of potential investment sites;
• increasing the investment attractiveness of communities.

The platform will be a pilot initiative to stimulate B2B interaction and build effective investment relationships during the digital transformation.

Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for European Integration Valeria Ionan spoke about her hopes for launching an investment marketplace in Cherkasy region:  «I hope that the initiative will give impetus to regional and local digitalization and become a model for other regions».

U-LEAD also supported digitization in Cherkasy. Andrii Horvat, Deputy Director of U-LEAD Program from GIZ, stressed that the initiative is an excellent example of presenting all the benefits and opportunities of such a tool for local development and investment.
