During the period of March 1–12, about 124.7 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through road border crossing points. For the same period of February 1–12, the volume amounted to 120.7 thousand tons, indicating a slight increase in the intensity of road shipments at the beginning of March.
The geography of transportation is concentrated in the Polish, Romanian, and Hungarian directions. The largest volumes pass through the Porubne – Siret (22.6 thousand tons), Krakivets – Korczowa (19.8 thousand tons), Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne (15.9 thousand tons), and Yahodyn – Dorohusk (14.0 thousand tons) crossings.
In the commodity structure of exports, processed products and oilseeds prevail. The largest volumes were formed by sunflower oil (11.7 thousand tons), poultry meat (10.4 thousand tons), soybean meal (8.0 thousand tons), sugar (7.3 thousand tons), ethyl alcohol (7.0 thousand tons), and corn (5.1 thousand tons).
Compared to the beginning of February, the share of processed products in the transportation structure has increased, in particular vegetable oils, meals, and sugar, while grains account for a smaller share of road exports.
