Import of electric generator sets and rotary electric converters to Ukraine in January-March 2026 decreased by 31% compared to the same period of 2025 – to $298.7 million.
In March, imports of this equipment decreased by 11% compared to March 2025 and by 41.9% compared to February 2026 – to $78.6 million.
Most often in the I quarter of this year, electric generators and converters were imported from Romania – for $62.7 million, which accounted for 21% of the total imports of this product, China – for $55.4 million, or 18.5%, and the Czech Republic – for $50.3 million, or 16.8%.
A year earlier, the largest suppliers were the Czech Republic with supplies worth $85.7 million, the USA – $77.3 million, and Austria – $68.7 million.
Exports of electric generators from Ukraine in January-March 2026 were insignificant and amounted to $0.44 million.
