The press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Products Safety and Consumer Protection informs that the competent authorities of Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates have approved the Health Certificate for exports of eggs, egg products as well as meat and meat products from Ukraine to the UAE.

This and other certificates can be found on the official website of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section "International cooperation", "Certificates for export from Ukraine". It also has to be mentioned that last year the United States Department of Agriculture announced requirements for export of meat (including poultry meat) and eggs from Ukraine to the USA.

In summer 2019 a range of veterinary certificates for exports of meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, eggs and egg products, fish and seafood and other food products from Ukraine to Qatar were approved as well.

During January-November 2019 Ukrainian exports of eggs amounted to 104,3 million USD and this is 22% more in comparison with the same period of 2018. The importers of Ukrainian eggs are: the UAE (24 million USD), Iraq (13,3 million USD) and the Virgin Islands (9,6 million USD). In total, during 11-month period of the previous year Ukraine has exported 129 thousand tons of eggs and this is 32% more than during January-November of 2018.
