Grain crops make a significant share (35%) in the export product structure of Cherkasy region.

In 2022 enterprises of the region exported 1,94 million tons of grain crops worth 453,3 million US dollars, which is 1,5 times more than in 2021.

In the export structure, corn accounted for 86,4% (1,69 million tons worth 391,7 million US dollars), wheat and meslin (a mixture of wheat and rye) — 13,1% (241,4 thousand tons worth 59,4 million US dollars), barley — 0,4% (7,6 thousand tons worth 1,6 million US dollars), the rest — rye, oats, buckwheat, millet.

Grain crops were supplied to 46 countries.
