The Government has made a decision to allow the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development to direct 2 billion UAH to modernization, building and maintaining of checkpoints at the state border. 

This is part of the Government’s priority reform “A European Border”. It envisages that citizens and businesses will have an opportunity to cross the border with European countries quickly, conveniently and bureaucracy-free.

The specified funds will be used to finance the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of public highways of state importance in 2023 under the program “Development of the network and maintenance of public highways of state importance”.
