On May 27, the Estonian media company Delfi Meedia will hold a conference in Tallinn related to the investment in Ukraine. This will be the first such event in the Baltic and Scandinavian countries since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.
One of the partners of the conference is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. Marijn Ratnyk, Vice-Chancellor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Foreign Economy and Cooperation for the Purpose of Development, emphasized that economic cooperation with Ukraine already today "is what ensures the strength and stability of the Ukrainian state even during war."
"Maintaining the economy today is also cheaper than rebuilding Ukraine after the end of the war. Thus, every cent spent is an investment in the future of Ukraine. Today, Ukraine is a difficult environment, but not impossible. Estonian entrepreneurs are actively and boldly developing business ties in Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia supports them as much as possible. This year, we will organize a number of industry business seminars in Ukraine, as well as in Estonia," Ratnyk said.
