In January-April 2024, Ukraine has exported 36,43 thousand tons of dairy products, which is 42% more in natural volumes compared to the same period in 2023.

At the same time, the monetary revenue for exported dairy products mostly remained at the level of last year's period (+0,12%) and amounted to 70,46 million US dollars in the first quarter of 2024.

In April, Ukraine has exported 10,42 thousand tons of dairy products, thus the natural volume of exports increased by 18% compared to March of this year and by 35% compared to April 2023.

The increase in the volume of exports of dairy products in April is probably related to the reduction of demand in the domestic market during the abstinence period, the appearance in the country of surpluses of milk-raw materials and a reduce in purchase prices.
