Ukraine has opened its first agri-hub on the African continent – in the Republic of Ghana.

Within the framework of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Food from Ukraine initiative, a Food Processing and Distribution Center has been launched.

Ukrainian products will be combined with local ones, food packages will be formed, and their distribution will be ensured. The next stage is the development of processing, packaging, and portioning directly in Ghana.

The first packages included locally produced rice and pasta made in Ghana from Ukrainian flour. During the opening, 4,000 food packages were delivered to the most vulnerable groups of the population, Ghanaian widows.
