Export of Ukrainian mollusks for 3 months increased by 27.1%

In the first quarter of 2026, Ukraine exported 244 tons of mollusks – 27.1% more than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, mollusk exports reached $662 thousand – 14.5% more than in January-March 2025.

The main buyers of Ukrainian mollusks in the first quarter of 2026 were Spain (87.22%), Italy (4.8%) and Germany (3.3%).

In January-March 2026, the volume of mollusk imports also increased: by 18.5% compared to the same period last year – to 1.1 thousand tons.

Ukraine spent $5.5 million on them, which is 41% more than in January-March 2025.

The largest suppliers of mollusks to the domestic market this year were China (39.7%), Peru (26.7%) and France (12.1%).
