In September-April 2022/23 marketing year, 3,8 million tons of sunflower oil were exported from Ukraine, which is 12% higher than the same indicator of the previous marketing year. By the end of the current oil season (May-August), Ukraine can export another 0,8 million tons of this product.

Considering the country's sunflower reserves, the production and export of sunflower oil in May-August 2022/23 marketing year may become the minimum for the specified period in more than 9 seasons. As for the next season, according to the forecast of experts, the export of sunflower oil will remain at the minimum level since 2016/17 marketing year - 4,57 million tons.
