Export of milk and cream in the 1st quarter dropped

In January-March 2024, Ukraine exported 7,2 thousand tons of non-condensed milk and cream, which is 11,1% less than in the same period last year. In monetary terms, export reduced by only 2,1% - to 4,6 million US dollars. The main buyers of Ukrainian non-condensed milk and cream in the 1st quarter of 2024 were Moldova (93,3%), Armenia (2,6%) and Georgia (2,3%).

The export of condensed milk and cream for the first three months of this year was at the level of 5,9 thousand tons, which is 13,2% less than in the same period of 2023. In monetary terms, the export of these millet products increased by 10,7% compared to the 1st quarter of 2023 - up to 15,8 million US dollars. Israel (17,2%), Poland (15,8%) and Bulgaria (15,5%) bought the most condensed milk and cream in Ukraine during this period. As reported, in the 1st quarter, the plants produced 8% more of real condensed milk and products.
