In April 2024, Ukraine has exported 10,42 thousand tons of dairy products worth 21 million US dollars.

It is noted that natural export volumes increased by 18% compared to March of this year and by 35% compared to April 2023. Cash receipts for delivered goods increased by 14% compared to March 2024 and by 10% compared to April 2023.

In January-April 2024, 36,43 thousand tons of dairy products worth 70,46 million US dollars were exported, which is 42% more in natural volumes. Cash income for exported dairy products mostly remained at the level of last year's period (+0,12%).

The main export categories in March in monetary terms were the following goods:

condensed milk and cream - 31%;

ice cream — 23%;

cheeses - 20%;

butter — 12%.

In April, Ukraine has imported 5,05 thousand tons of dairy products, which is 11% more compared to March of this year and 5% more compared to April 2023. Last month, the supply of milk and condensed cream to Ukraine increased to 116 tons (+25%), whey to 512 tons (+41%), cheeses to 3,3 thousand tons (+8%), and ice cream to 266 tons (+51%). In January-April 2024, Ukraine has imported 18,89 thousand tons of dairy products, which is 5% more compared to last year's period.
