European Comission removed all the obstacles for Ukrainian exporters of fruit and vegetables

Ukraine has been included into the list of the countries, which can export particular types of fruit and vegetables to the European Union.

It was announced by the press-service of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

According to the EU Council Directive № 2019/523, since 1 September 2019, the EU import requirements of Malus Mill (apple tree), Pyrus L. (pear tree), Prunus L. (plum tree), Capsicum annuum L. (pepper), Solanum aethiopicum L. (bane), Solanum lycopersicum L. (tomatoes) та Solanum melongena L. (egg-plant) have been changed.

These products can be now exported from the areas free of Neoleucinodes elegantalis (Guenée), Enarmonia prunivora Walsh, Grapholita inopinata Heinrich, Rhagoletis pomonella (Walsch), Guignardia piricola (Nosa) Yamamoto, Tachypterellus quadrigibrita Say, Tepyllus quadrigibrita during the growing season.
