In December, Ukrainian corn was actively purchased by Turkey and Italy

Corn exports in December amounted to 2.2 million tonnes, with the key destinations being the Mediterranean region and the EU, which together accounted for more than 60% of total shipments.

The largest volumes were shipped to Turkey (722.9 thousand tonnes) and Italy (456.3 thousand tonnes). Asia accounted for a smaller but still significant share of exports, particularly South Korea (101.6 thousand tonnes) and China (58.0 thousand tonnes).

Seaports gradually began to resume operations amid continued attacks by the aggressor, adapting to reduced electrical voltage and compensating for power shortages by installing diesel generators.
