China has approved a list of Ukrainian producers of frozen beef who can export this product to Chinese market.

It was announced by the press-service of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

It was also mentioned that only three producers had been added to this list but the process continues. The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection still receives applications from Ukrainian beef producers who want to export to China. Government agency asks the enterprises willing to export their products to the People’s Republic of China, to pay attention to Chinese export requirement for this type of products.

According to the information provided by the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the final decision on approval of the list of Ukrainian beef producers was made on August 4-7, 2019 during the official visit of the delegation of General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) to Ukraine. This decision was a result of the previous inspectional mission of GACC to Ukraine on June 3-10, 2019. The aim of the previous mission was to evaluate the system of Ukrainian state control on cattle meat production.
