Certificates EUR.1 are most frequently issued to exporters of plant-based products

To support the export of Ukrainian-origin goods, the State Customs Service issues EUR.1 certificates of origin. These certificates exempt Ukrainian goods from import duties when exported to the EU, EFTA countries, Montenegro, the United Kingdom, Georgia, and Israel.

Since the beginning of the year, customs authorities have issued 75,000 EUR.1 certificates. They were most commonly issued for exports to the following countries: Poland – 16,606, Germany – 6,546, Romania – 5,465, Italy – 4,081, and Lithuania – 3,247. Ukrainian producers primarily obtained EUR.1 certificates for the following goods: plant-based products, sunflower oil, white sugar, chicken meat, and natural honey.
