The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine banned exports of ethyl alcohol until June 1

Denys Shmyhal, the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, wrote in his Telegram-channel that the Government voted for the decision to ban exports of ethyl alcohol till June 1, 2020. He wrote that the Government has decided to ban exports of ethyl alcohol from the territory of Ukraine by June 1.

He has emphasized that the control posts at departures from ethanol companies should ensure control of where and to whom this product is sold. As it has been mentioned before, the state enterprise “Ukrspyrt” has recently announced that it stops exports of ethyl alcohol in order to prevent a shortage in the internal market.

On March 18, the enterprise has started work on 4 additional plants in order to cover the consumer demand of the domestic market.
