As of 7 February, since the beginning of the 2021/2022 marketing year, Ukraine has exported 39 210 thousand  tons of grain crops, which is 9 683 thousand tons more than in the same period of the previous marketing year.

This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, the following grain crops were delivered to foreign markets:

• wheat - 17 207 thousand tons;
• barley - 5 484 thousand tons;
• rye - 157 4 thousand tons;
• corn - 16 095 thousand tons.

Besides this, flour and other grain crops were exported - 63,9 thousand tons, which is 24,4 thousand tons less than in the corresponding period of the previous marketing year.

According to the balance of supply and demand of cereals and legumes, the expected production may reach 83,8 million tons of all cereals.

The demand for domestic consumption is about 20 million tons, which will allow to export about 65 million tons of cereals and legumes.
