In 4 months, the export of frozen cattle meat reduced by 27,1%

In January-April 2024, Ukraine has exported 5,1 thousand tons of frozen cattle meat – 27,1% less than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, export for the four months of this year reduced by 20,6%, as compared to January-April 2023, up to 22 million US dollars. The main buyers of Ukrainian frozen cattle meat during the four months of this year were China (40%), Azerbaijan (35,6%) and Georgia (10,1%).

The import of frozen cattle meat during January-April 2024 amounted to 876 tons, which is 54,8% more than in the four months of last year. In monetary terms, import amounted to Ukraine 67,9% more than in the same period of 2023 ‒ 4,7 million US dollars.

Ukraine bought the most frozen cattle meat in January-April 2024 from Lithuania (54,5%), Germany (20,7%) and Ireland (18,4%).
