In January-February 2024 Ukraine has exported 1,1 thousand tons of live cattle, which is 3,8 times less than in the same period last year. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service.

In monetary terms, the export of live cattle reduced 4,5 times compared to January-February 2023, – up to 1,5 million US dollars. All domestic live cattle during the first two months of this year were bought by Lebanon.

The reduction of export to Lebanon may be related to the deterioration of the economic and security situation in this country.
