According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia (JAKIM) has granted the status of a foreign institution whose

certificates "Halal" are recognized on the territory of Malaysia, the Ukrainian Center for Certification "Halal", located at: Kyiv, ul.  Lukyanovskaya, 46.

The indicated status was granted until January 22, 2021.  The Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia reserves the right to carry out extraordinary inspections and withdraw the certificate of a case of detection of significant violations.

Thus, Ukrainian companies, that wishing to export food products to Malaysia, can obtain an appropriate certificate on the territory of Ukraine, which greatly simplifies the procedure and reduces the time of preparation of the relevant documentation.

Taking into account the credibility of the Malaysian system of certification of products suitable for consumption by Muslims, Halal certificates recognized by Malaysia will also be recognized in other countries of the Muslim world.
