Moldova continued the licensing of import of agricultural products from Ukraine

The government of Moldova has extended for another 3 months the licensing regime for imports into the country of three main agricultural crops — wheat, corn and sunflower seeds.

The Commission on Emergency Situations decided to continue the mentioned measure in order to "maintain economically stable prices for domestic grain products on the domestic market."

"The import of wheat, corn and sunflower seeds to the Republic of Moldova will, as before, be allowed on the basis of a license issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. An appeal for the issuance of an import license may be submitted by a legal entity or an individual who carries out economic activity in the production of oil and fats, flour products, and forage products. Appeals are considered by a commission created by the Ministry of Agriculture of Moldova," - the message says.
