The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection has begun compiling lists of companies and operators planning to export barley and peas to the People’s Republic of China.

By August 17, 2026, applicants must submit documents confirming that phytosanitary procedures have been carried out at the locations where the products are grown and stored.

The lists will include:

• barley storage facilities;
• barley exporters;
• pea-growing enterprises;
• pea exporters;
• enterprises that process and store peas for export.

Documents confirming the completion of phytosanitary procedures at barley and pea growing and storage facilities, required for inclusion in the above-mentioned lists, must be submitted by August 17, 2026, to info@dpss.gov.ua for subsequent notification to the People’s Republic of China.
