In the 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine’s rapeseed oil exports increased 2.5-fold compared with the 2024/25 marketing year, reaching 520,000 tonnes versus 210,000 tonnes. Foreign exchange earnings from rapeseed oil exports more than tripled, rising to $588 million from $194 million.

A significant increase in both the production and export of rapeseed meal has also been observed.

In the first half of 2026, Ukraine exported 184,200 tonnes of rapeseed oil, compared with 19,500 tonnes in the first half of the previous year – a 9.7-fold increase. Foreign exchange earnings grew 10.9-fold, reaching $208 million versus $19 million.
