In the current season, Ukrainian companies significantly ramped up apple supplies abroad, exporting more than 22 thousand tonnes of this product in the period from July 2025 to April 2026.

Apple imports into Ukraine fell to approximately 5.5 thousand tonnes. For comparison, in the 2024/25 season the country shipped about 16.8 thousand tonnes of apples abroad while importing 18.2 thousand tonnes, ending the year with a negative trade balance.

The main driver of the positive dynamics was an increase in the gross harvest of commercial apples, which made it possible to fully meet domestic demand and expand shipments to foreign markets.

The geography of supplies remains stable: the main buyers of Ukrainian apples are the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Sweden.
