Ukraine in June 2026 exported about 1.52 thousand tons of live cattle (cattle) by live weight, which is 25% less compared to May 2026, but 25% more compared to June 2025.

Exporters in June supplied 445 tons of fresh or chilled beef to foreign markets, which is 2% more compared to May and significantly more compared to June 2025. Export revenue for the supplied goods amounted to $3.67 million, which is 7% more compared to May, but much more compared to June 2025.

Ukraine has increased the physical volumes of fresh beef exports almost 33 times, and monetary revenue – almost 41 times compared to the same period last year.

The physical volumes of frozen beef exports from Ukraine in June 2026 amounted to 1.71 thousand tons, which is 6% less compared to May 2026, but 6% more compared to June 2025.

At the same time, in June 2026 Ukraine reduced cattle imports to 28 tons compared to May. The volumes of chilled beef imports amounted to 13 tons and did not change over the last month. Frozen beef imports decreased to 115 tons (-14%) compared to the previous month. Compared to June 2025, the physical volumes of cattle imports decreased by 89%, chilled beef – by 11%, and frozen beef – by 23%.
