Morocco is the 5th largest trading partner of Ukraine among African countries by volume. In 2021, bilateral trade turnover reached 630 million USD. Due to the war, trade volumes decreased, but in 2025 they recovered to about 250 million USD.

This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine T. Vysotskyi during the Ukrainian-Moroccan business forum in Rabat.

Also, within the framework of the business forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and the Moroccan Federation of Chambers of Commerce, which provides for the creation of the Ukrainian-Moroccan Business Council, as well as a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine and the National Port Administration of Morocco.
