About 50.4 thousand tons of oil were exported by railway in the first half of July this year. This figure is 23.2% lower than last year’s.

At the same time, the volume increased by 2.4% compared to the figure for this period of June.

Among the reasons for this decline are the poor harvest of oilseeds and the beginning of the repair period at oil extraction plants.

Three quarters of the oil is exported through western border crossings, and 25% goes through ports.

78.1 thousand tons of meal and cake were transported in July. Compared to July 2025, the figure decreased by 9%.

The percentage of meal and cake exports through western border crossings is 89%. Only 11% is transported through ports.
