As of June 22, Ukraine is transitioning to NCTS Phase 6, which streamlines the common transit procedure for Ukrainian traders, taking into account integration with the EU's digital platforms.

“Transit declarations that are not completed by 10:00 on June 22 will need to be resubmitted in NCTS Phase 6 after the system resumes operation,” the authority clarified.

After the transition to NCTS Phase 6, when crossing the border with Poland and Slovakia, provided that combined transit declarations containing safety and security data are submitted, there will be no need to submit an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) to ICS2.

However, this requirement remains in force when entering the EU through Romania or Hungary: in addition to the standard T1 transit declaration, Ukrainian carriers must submit an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) to ICS2 in accordance with the requirements of European legislation (approximately one hour before the vehicle arrives at the border crossing point).
