In Bukovyna, a comprehensive upgrade of the “Kelmentsi – Larga” checkpoint on the border with Moldova has been completed.

The key solution during the modernisation was the use of modular infrastructure. This made it possible to avoid lengthy capital construction.

Before the upgrade, service staff worked in metal trailers that did not meet modern requirements and lacked comfortable working conditions.

New modular premises have now been installed at the checkpoint, the road surface and canopies have been repaired, and a sanitary zone, an autonomous sewage system and a water supply system have been arranged.
