For the first 5 months of 2026, the Ukrainian consumer market maintained stable demand for exotic fruits, despite complicated international logistics. Supplies of bananas and plantains reached 107.3 thousand t, and the total value of imported products amounted to about 110 million USD.

Ecuador remains the traditional leader in supplies to the Ukrainian market, providing the largest volumes. Other countries are also present in the market, but their shares are significantly smaller.
