Ukraine exported 66.8 thousand tons of flour in 2025, which is the lowest figure since 2006, when 10.5 thousand tons of this product were supplied for export.
The war has virtually cut off the opportunity for Ukrainian flour millers to earn additional income on the international market. Logistics problems have led to Ukraine losing almost all of its traditional markets. Only Moldova remains, and the possibility of exports to the EU has emerged, where more than half of the total volume now goes.
Flour exports are currently possible only by rail and road transport, so there is still no hope for an increase in foreign trade volumes.
